Our restaurant is casual, welcoming and very friendly with hand painted original artwork depicting the rough brilliance of the houses in the Tango street of “Carminito” which was built with cast-off ship building materials and colourfully painted by the local immigrants.

The menu features a wide range of inspiring Latin dishes and other specialties including Empanadas, Ceviche, Arepas and Tamales. Enjoy slow roasted meats on our “Churrasco” BBQ, cooked to perfection by our Latino Chefs who will be delighted to indulge you with any special requests you may have.

A Limited Edition by MICHAEL ONG

Kuala Lumpur, Thursday, 24th November 2011 - The members of media has been presented exclusively by Tesco Stores Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Tesco Malaysia) and one of Malaysia's renowned fashion designers and the year of 2008 Mercedes-Benz STYLO Best Designer, Michael Ong and announcing their first ever collaboration to present an exclusive designer collection only available at Tesco stores all over Malaysia.

This very limited edition collection of Michael Ong's, features nine versatile, day to night pieces in a splash of colours ranging from red, blue, purple, fuchsia, coral and off course, the classic black. He brings to his collection his years of experience as a designer to famous stars namely Sheila Majid, Erra Fazira and Siti Nurhaliza, to finally create an accessible and affordable collection to be distributed by Tesco Malaysia. 'A Limited Edition by Michael Ong Exclusively For Tesco' collection will be available in all Tesco stores over Malaysia on December 15th, 2011.

Mr. Hem Patel, the Commercial Director of Tesco Malaysia can't hide his excitement, when asked about this collaboration and he said, "we are so delighted to had the opportunity to work with Michael Ong on this project. Michael has come up with a versatile yet affordable collection of which he believe would be a hit among Tesco shoppers."


"My inspiration is from the 70s disco group Boney-M, who wore beautiful clothes with unique touches like sashes and sexy necklines, therefore my limited edition collection I wanted it to be classy and sexy with a hint of retro chic, and easily wearable by all shapes, be it petite or plus size, I just want them to look fabulous in it!", said Michael.


When asked about this collaboration with Tesco, Michael humbly said that since the starts of his career, many of his fans have yearned to own a piece by Michael Ong but perceived it as a collection for the rich and famous or the runway only. "So when the opportunity came up to work with tesco through an introduction by Stylo International, I wanted to use this to create an affordable and versatile line as a gift to all my fans". he added.


During the show to the members of press, Michael watched proudly to his "glamourous" models namely Amber Chia, Gillian Hung, Zahida Rafik and many more who playfully showing off his colourful but very elegant collections.


The price range of A Limited Edition by Michael Ong's collection starts from RM29 for shashes, tops and bottoms for RM99 and dresses for RM129. The range will be availabe in 17 of Tesco's stores in various locations such as in Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan and Johor Bahru.
